Lifetime Achievement Award 2026

Eligible: Retiring ISTA members This award honors members in the year of their retirement or the year immediately following for a lifetime of achievement at the local, district, state, and/or national levels. A Governance Committee subcommittee reviews nominations and recommends recipients to the ISTA Board. All members are encouraged to nominate deserving colleagues, and there is no limit to the number of awards each year. Nominations must include two letters of recommendation and a summary of the nominee’s leadership and involvement, such as offices held, committee work, trainings led, or other recognitions.

Nomination deadline is March 1 with the award presentation to be scheduled at an ISTA event, determined by the ISTA President. The names of honorees are placed on a plaque in the ISTA building. Questions? Contact Sherri Purdue.
