Eligible: ISTA ESP members

This award recognizes extraordinary efforts by education support professionals (ESP) on behalf of kids. Nominees must be an ISTA ESP member (in good standing) working in a public education support position who are youth-oriented and have gone beyond the usual expectations of their job description. Nominations will be evaluated by a selection committee appointed by the ISTA president. Follow-up interviews by phone or in-person with nominees or references may be included in the process.
Nomination deadline is April 29 with the award presentation to be scheduled at an ISTA event, determined by the ISTA president. The honoree will be Indiana’s candidate for the NEA/ESP of the Year Award and will receive funding to attend the NEA ESP Conference.
